The ocean was alive this morning with birdlife. This white capped albatross was among shearwater, gulls, gannets and cormorants feeding out on the tide.

It's always fun, catching up with the locals. This day a young NZ Sea Lion provided the entertainment.

Whilst its not quite the humpback whale we shared our tour with a couple of weeks ago it was still really fun watching this curious young sea lion play around the kayaks as we paddled back to shore.

With Level 2 just around the corner, we're looking forward to getting back on the water.
