Well after a lazy start (mainly because we are both stiff from our first day back at the gym)we finally launched ourselves out about 2pm and headed to the koala centre and conservation park for a walk. It was beautiful and then a total bonus to see a big fat kookaburra and some cute koalas. The baby one was so cute and bewildered looking.

In the distance Choochiemudlee island where people live and you can catch the ferry to for a lie on the beach. Today’s day trip to Victoria point, Cleveland Bay and Raby Bay. Half hour from Daisy Hill. Now at Sea Fuel restaurant at Cleveland and grilled cod with Greek salad for lunch. Healthy and Very nice too.

Big day today. Picked up my grandsons from uni and took them to breakfast at Southbank which was beautiful. Everyone with shirts off or bikinis lying in the sun. Hard to believe it is nearly the first day of winter. Lovely to spend time with the kids then we drove to Morayfield to meet our next lot of people and their lovely dogs Scarlett and Duke.

Settling in at Daisy Hill with Maxy a gorgeous 7 year old Jack Russell. He has heaps of energy but curled up beside me asleep at the moment. We had a short walk this morning and then a coffee at the local shops and joined the gym for the week. Might go an have a look at Chatswood this afternoon which is not far away. Tomorrow we go to Brissy to pick up my two grandsons and take them for brekkie at south bank after that we will go and meet the people from Morayfield whose dogs Scarlet and Duke we look after next. Nice spending time in different areas not just the Gold Coast.

Whats on my mine facebook asks. Well nothing now since I have devoured my ikea Swedish meatballs.price has gone up and quantity down but still tastes just as good. We are going to be staying just down the road so I imagine we might be back, or I can pick up the frozen ones with mash and the gravy and cranberry and make at home. On our way to our first house sit and dog sit for Maxy the jack Russell for next 10 days. Looking forward to some doggy cuddles.

Well back in one of our favorite places. Labrador / Biggera waters and we walked the length of Marine Parade about 12,000 steps. Ran into a couple from Christchurch we know on the return walk, good to hear news from Lyn an old acquaintance. We walked past this boat which obviously broke anchor as it has been quite high sees and waves. And the pelicans outside Charis. The apartment block in the picture has a renovated apartment for sale, so trying to arrange a viewing. Nice area and faces side street so quieter. Its all so familiar and easy living here so always on the look out.
