At Book Tekapo, we are proud to support the initiatives that strengthen our local community and help it thrive. Following the success of last year’s efforts, we are excited to once again give back in a meaningful way.
In February last year, we introduced our Community Giving Back Campaign, where homeowners had the option to make a voluntary donation through their February statements. Thanks to their generous support, $10,800 was raised for the Lake Tekapo Volunteer Fire Brigade.
This year, we are delighted to partner with Lake Tekapo School under the theme “Building Bright Futures.”
We shared this message to our owners during the month of February;
'Lake Tekapo School is a small, community-focused primary school catering to students in Years 1 to 6. It offers a rich, localised curriculum that connects learning to the unique high-country environment, culture, and community. This approach helps students develop a strong sense of identity, curiosity, and belonging. With the support of dedicated staff, whānau, and the wider community, students are empowered to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing and engaging environment.'
Book Tekapo matched homeowner donations dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000.
We are proud to donate $11,200 to support this important role in the community.
