🚨🚨IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚨🚨
Open as normal BUT Please don’t enter the car park until snow has been cleared. We highly advise pedestrian access only. Please only come down if it’s essential. The teams at High Country Earthworks and Downer NZ are putting is some massive efforts and this is much easier when they get the chance to clear without anyone around. We will keep you posted with updates

Discover Tekapo Accommodation has new management!
We would like to thank Alex and Tussock too for their awesome care of Fox over the past 8 years.

Tussock and Alex leaving Discover Tekapo in good hands.

The last eight years have certainly been interesting and then throw Covid in the mix as well!
I wish I had taken my mothers advice to record all the weird and wonderful things that have happened. We have plenty of stories.
We have met so many people from around the world who have been guests, team members, long term tenants etc. Tekapo is a wonderful community made up of beautiful people from different cultures and nationalities.
We would like to thank all those who have helped and supported us, most importantly our staff and homeowners but also tradies, those who supply us with our daily caffeine dose, family, friends and those in the same industry, with a special thanks to Caroll Simcox who was so willing to share her knowledge with us when we arrived. Thank you.
We wish Jessica Frewen and the wonderful team all the best going forward.
Tussock & Alex (and yes we are still going to be in Tekapo)
