Indie sewing pattern label Named is looking for pattern testers! Read on for how it works...

Attention!

We are looking for ladies of different sizes and sewing skills to try out our Spring Summer 2015 patterns!

Do you have some free time and a clear sewing schedule for the holidays? Would you describe your sewing skills as average or advanced? Are you somewhere between sizes EUR 32 and 50? We would appreciate your help very much!

If you feel like you’d be into some pattern testing, follow these steps; First check these dates in your calendar:

December 19th 2014 - This is the date when you will receive your pdf pattern!

January 4th 2015 - This is the deadline for the finished garment and submitting your feedback!

If this sounds all right, send us an e-mail, in which you describe yourself shortly: What is your size and sewing history (shortly). Deadline for applications is this Friday, December 12th.

At this point, a group of people will be selected for the next step: This group will receive a detailed schedule and instructions for the testing. And of course our SS15 catalog, from which we’d like them to choose 3-5 garments they would be most interested in making.

We are looking for a group of about 20 testers, to cover as many styles and sizes as possible - this way we will be able to get the most accurate results! Each tester will eventually try one pattern.

Your job as a tester will be simple: After receiving the pattern and instructions (it’s going to be a pdf), sew the garment as instructed, and after you’re done, send us images of the garment, together with feedback about the pattern and instructions. Note that all feedback is helpful!
