Home Safe & Sound from the Bay of Plenty Discovery Tour

Our latest Bay of Plenty Discovery Tour has come to a close, and what a wonderful journey it has been.

From rolling green countryside and thriving orchards to sparkling harbours and rich local history, this tour showcased the very best of one of New Zealand's most diverse and vibrant regions.

Our travellers enjoyed leisurely lunches surrounded by the tranquil gardens of The Herb Farm, experienced life on the land at the Agrodome, and relaxed as they cruised through Rotorua's unique rail landscapes. A particular highlight was venturing out onto the waters of Ōhiwa Harbour, where fresh oysters, stunning scenery and fascinating local stories combined to create an unforgettable experience.

The tour also offered a taste of the Bay's renowned horticultural heritage with a guided visit to Kiwifruit Country, while cider tasting at The Cider Factorie provided plenty of laughs and lively conversation. From the nostalgic aviation displays at Classic Flyers to the heritage charm of The Elms Te Papa and the impressive collections at Toi Art Tauranga, every day brought something new to discover.

A sincere thank you to all who travelled with us. We hope you have returned home with happy memories, plenty of photos, and a renewed appreciation for the remarkable experiences waiting to be discovered right here in our own backyard.
