Travel back in time

Enjoy a ride on a heritage train with Goldfields Railway. Journey between Waihi and Waikino at the Eastern end of the spectacular Karangahake Gorge, travelling along what used to be known as the East Coast Main Trunk Line.

On arrival at the Waikino Station enjoy a cuppa and a scone at the cafe before travelling through the Gorge to Paeroa where you can experience the wonderful Op Shops available. We will then travel back to the Waikino Hotel for a late buffet lunch where you can spend time discussing your savvy purchases.

After a very enjoyable day we will return you back to where you joined the tour.

Home, safe and sound.

Rural splendour took on epic proportions. We visited Mt Nicholas on Lake Wakatipu, two iconic stations at Lake Wanaka. We also visited a traditional station in the heart of the Mackenzie Basin and spent a fabulous day exploring farming properties on the edges of the Canterbury Plains.

Lava Glass & Huskie Tour

Yesterday, our Bay of Plenty tours team spent the day out experiencing the the Lava Glass & Huskie Tour. Our time at Lava Glass was fascinating and watching glass be created into sculptures was a compelling process. We then travelled to see the huskies, the highlight of the day! It was informative and a real eye opener to learn more about the huskie breed and how they are cared for, with the added bonus of soft snuggly cuddles with the dogs to end a truly fabulous day.
