A small cottage on the property dates to the late 18th century. The first discovery of a workable Gold Field in Otago was made by Edward Peters (Black Peter) at Glenore in 1859. Alan has researched the Gold mining history of the area, and has a vast amount of information available on request
The cottage now serves as a small shop selling hand made woollens, soaps, handmade balms, crafts and plants including tomato, vegetable, herb seedlings and native trees

Manuka plant sourced locally from the hills in the Manuka Gorge and spray free. Also fresh spring water used in manufacturing.

Hydrosol is an aromatic water that is a co-product of steam distilling plant materials for essential oil.
