We’ve completed the first beautiful section of our New Zealand journey — and what a reminder it’s been to stay present.
From the quiet wonder of Waitomo Caves, to the playful magic of Hobbiton, and into Rotorua, where the earth breathes and shifts at Wai-O-Tapu and stories come alive at Te Puia.
In a world that can feel fragile and noisy, these places don’t just impress you — they invite you to slow down. To listen. To notice the warmth rising from the ground, the stillness underground, the way a landscape can hold centuries of meaning, and the way a shared experience can turn into a memory in seconds.
Today I’m choosing to travel like this: not to collect places, but to be fully inside each moment while it’s here.
