Kia Ora everyone, just continuing from my post the other day asking if anyone knew what I used my homegrown hop plant for besides making b**r 🍺

Answer: Hop tea

Hops are also a medicinal plant 🪴 That can help with sleep and digestion amongst other things.

Put a little bit of lemon or lime juice at the bottom of your cup and add your hop brew.

Nelson Tasman is the hop growing capital of New Zealand 🇳🇿 You'll see many hops growing all over our region throughout the summer ☀️ I grow a hop at home called Orange Sunrise but I don't make b**r from it.

You can ask to go to vineyard cellar doors, micro breweries, NZs oldest pub for lunch, scenic views, short walks or art galleries.

A funny story about how I started my fruit w**e making page in 2012. I now have 19k active followers on my FB Group and counting.

I left out the funny part 😅 They offered me a job as a Judge to take over for the retiring Judges but I said it was too tempting to enter as a Judge and give myself gold medals 🏅😄
