A huge amount of rain in a very short time has created a major emergency for the The Brook Waimārama Sanctuary. The largest predator free sanctuary in the South Island.
If you can spare a small donation the sanctuary needs it now more than ever.

Great to be able to support The Abel Tasman Birdsong Trust in the work they do, we are just one of many local operators supporting the mahi of the trust. It is so, so good to share the benefits of this mahi with our guests!

Earlier this year Wine, Art & Wilderness Tours generously donated 20 A24 Smart Traps to bolster our existing predator control network!

We installed one near Medlands that they will check with their clients - its definitely conservation in action and we are grateful for all their advocacy!

Since we’re always driving guests around the region, it’s no surprise that we have an affection for cars. 🚗

That’s why we’re always excited to show people the Nelson Classic Car Museum on our tours. They have over 150 cars spanning over 120 years! 🤩

Whether you’re a classic car aficionado or not, the Classic Car Museum is an experience not to be missed when visiting Nelson.

What’s your favourite classic car? Comment below 👇 and chat with us about booking a tour with a stop at the Classic Car Museum.

We recently donated 20 A24 Smart Trap Kits to The Abel Tasman Birdsong Trust to help them on their mission to protect and enhance the biodiversity of the park. 🪶🌿

These catchy (pun intended) and humane traps can reset automatically using a small gas canister. Plus, we can track the trap using an app to know when a kill has been made or the gas is low, meaning less pressure on our hardworking trap line volunteers. 💪

But the best part is that we got to spend the day in the park with Abby and Peter where we helped them install and test one of the new traps!

Thanks for all you do Abel Tasman Birdsong Trust and keep up the good work! 👏 Let’s all do our part to keep the Abel Tasman thriving so we can all enjoy it for years to come. 🌏

Celebrating 154 years since New Zealand's first organised game of rugby, using an oval ball 🏉 and the Monro rules, was played right here in sunny Nelson, 14 May 1870.

Nelson Football Club (Town) vs Nelson College... who won? According to the The Colonist on May 17 "it is all shove, pull, rush and roll about in a confused mass till ‘down’ is cried, and away the ball goes again...”

Town won 2-nil
