Super stoked to let y’all know that we just got the best review we’ve ever received from Stephen Wong MW (aka ) on (and one of the best reviews we’ve ever received generally) with a 93/100 for a very special wine, the 2019 Vin Jeanne, a Sauvignon Blanc that was biologically aged for six years and was named after my Oma! We're calling this Friday VERMOUTH FRIDAY! Jules will be in Wellington for the first time in a very long time so we've got not one but two opportunities to taste our critically acclaimed Bloody Vermouth and our limited release Kōwhai Vermouth as well as a few other things. We'll be at Regional Wines and Spirits from 3-5 and then at Amuse Snack Bar from 5.30. Come down and see us for a drink!

A lovely review for one of our wines is an especially nice way to end the week...

Thanks to NZ's only Master Sommelier, Cameron Douglas (Camdouglasms.com) for his 93/100 (Excellent) review of our brand new 2024 SUPER BLANC Sauvignon Blanc which reads,

"Peaches and gooseberry, yellow apple and dried herb, a hay and sandy soil idea builds mineral and style qualities. Crisp and dry, layers of lees and white spice along with a backbone of acidity frame the flavours of apple and topical fruit moments, hay and mineral. A nice wine with best drinking from day of purchase through 2029."

It's going to be super fun to have two Hillside Kitchen alumni teaming up for a super fun day of delicious wine, food and great company!

Known Unknown is going to be pouring a line up of all new Autumn releases:
RUBY RUBY RUBY RUBY - a wild cider aged with Syrah grapes and rasberries;
2024 SUPER BLANC - a brand new, super vibrant Sauvignon Blanc from the Supernatural Vineyard; and
