Taranaki Jaguar Drivers Club Taranaki's only Jaguar enthusiast club for people who love Jaguar's old and new.

The Taranaki Jaguar Driver's Club has been around for more than 30 years and comprises people who love the Jaguar marque. As a club we meet at least once a month and have a committee meeting every two months. Club outings include activities such as a concours de elegance, Spring Trial, Night Trial, Gymkhana, weekend trips away, coffee outings, visits to other collectors, a Christmas BBQ and hosting of other clubs from around NZ.

Awesome day out with the Jag club Annual Economy Run around the mountain organized by John Spurdle and Graham Blackstock. I took my beautiful British racing green Jag Xj6 Series 3. Started off at NFM feed all the jags full of petrol and weighed. A real good range of classics and moderns today. All weighed and off we went around the mountain beautiful drive through Pukeiti Gardens and windy roads through the trees. Stopped off for lunch at Colonel Marlones Stratford a nice catch up and nice meals and drinks to rehydrate. Then back to Inglewood Z station and refilled. Awesome day had by all 27 people out for the day. Wonder who the winner will be. Watch this space.

Another month rolled by lots of rain here in the Naki but the sun came out today so we all went for a wee drive in our Jaguars to the outskirts of New Plymouth for lunch at Tawa Glen. For a catch up. About 22 of us caught up for lunch Brunch. Some enjoying Big breakfasts and Eggs bennies. Nice amongst the gardens. Good company and good food.

A really good turnout yesterday for the mid week Lunch. Over 30 people attended. It was a beautiful day for getting out the old and new Jags for a run to Egmont Village. Somewhere new Simply Divine. The food was amazing. It was a good catch up proving these lunches are really popular with over 30 attending. Awesome to see everyone.

Amazing Pot luck dinner tonight hosting the Waikato Jaguar club. Outstanding efforts by the dream team Ladies Kim, Frances, Judy and Robyn drinking wine and preparing a beautiful buffett of home made cooking. Thanks to Paul and his mrs cooking the Bbq on the monster Mccurdy trucks BBQ. As the woman prepared the food the men talked cars, looking at Graeme and Nancy newly restored Mark 7. The desserts were delicious. The Waikato club very grateful. Well done all the members of the Taranaki club

Really good road trip around the mountain with the jag club hosting Waikato Jags. Left the lighthouse to Hawera to visit me old m8 KD at his Elvis museum. Ive been about 7 times but gets better and better every time. Amazing guy and collection. The lunch at the Upside Down Cafe for the famous chicken snitzel.

Nice weekend out with the Jag club inviting Waikato up for a visit. Up early Breakfast at the Bach scrambled eggs and Bacon. Then a nice drive around the coast 1st stop the Lighthouse Cape Egmont. Some xnice Jags here. Cruise around the mountain.
