Taranaki Jaguar Drivers Club Taranaki's only Jaguar enthusiast club for people who love Jaguar's old and new.

The Taranaki Jaguar Driver's Club has been around for more than 30 years and comprises people who love the Jaguar marque. As a club we meet at least once a month and have a committee meeting every two months. Club outings include activities such as a concours de elegance, Spring Trial, Night Trial, Gymkhana, weekend trips away, coffee outings, visits to other collectors, a Christmas BBQ and hosting of other clubs from around NZ.

Really nice day for a drive yesterday getting out the Jaguars. We all met at the 3A in convoy. ( Good to see some oldies, cars that is not members) Old cars turning up 2 old Mk 2 Jags, Damilers new Xj6 Series 2 and even an old Original Mk 7 survivor car. We all then headed off to Dennis Wheelers Shed of bits and bobs. Old cars and trucks and old tools and memobillia of decades old all displayed really well. The shed with a beautiful outlook over the sea. Dennis said he loves sitting there enjoying a beer. So many things to look at the members really enjoyed looking around and walking the gardens. Then back in our cars and drove to Cafe 487 just past Urenui. We all gathered together under the umbrellas as it was a beautiful day. Magnificent setting old cafe with music playing with a really good vibe. We sat and enjoyed cold drinks and lunch. A really good turnout with old and new Jags. Everyone had a really good time. Catching up and driving our pride and joys. Happy Days Ozy

Great day out at the 30th Anniversary Inglewood Rotary carshow. It was nice and hot with over 450 pride and joys on Display. 5 of us ventured out in the Jaguar club to Display our Jags and Damilers. Bruce Gray with his XK8 Ron with his new double six Damiler, Bruce Wallis with his Damiler Double Six, Keven Mills with his 3.8 Jag and Ozy in the F Type. Old to new with the Jaguar flags flying. Really good turnout for the day. BBQ sold out. Fun times

Another Awesome year winding up with our Annual Xmas Party. As tradition we all have a BBQ where we all bring a dessert or Salad. This year was hosted By Stuart and Jenny Waite who really turned it on for us with the weather and the hosting. Was a beautiful day and we all sat out the back under the gazebo chatting and enjoying a few drinks together. The club supplyed the Meat and was plenty of Salads and yummy desserts. A really enjoyable night to finish the year off. Big thanks to Stuart and Jenny. Merry Xmas all. See you all next year in 2026.

Really nice day out for Lunch with my darling wife Kimmy and the Jaguar club at Puketi Gardens.
Good turnout nice meals. Except for the poor Mills getting Frozen Pies and early coffees. Lol Then a very nice stroll through the gardens and Water wheel. Very pleasant afternoon beautiful gardens and good company. This was our last Mid week lunch for the year. Have definitely proven very popular. Awesome idea Ozy. See you all at the Xmas Party.

Well what an Amazing weekend a BIG Shout out to Kim and Ron for organizing the whole weekend from Whoa to go. Really good people having a very actioned packed weekend. Some thing for everyone car collections, shopping in the boutique towns, gin tasting and that was a real laugh. Driving to the lowest point of the north island climbing the 250 stairs and seeing the seals. We all ate and drunk to much but we had a blast. Beautiful Accommodation. A really enjoyable weekend by all. Way to go Kim and Ron. Happy Days
