RED ALERT ON AIRLINES OVERBOOKING FLIGHTS

Due to Airlines within UK and Europe CONTINUING overbooking their flights.

We are required to notify our clients the following:

In quite a few instances this year, I have had colleagues, and my clients checked in at a UK OR European Airport

and the check in staff have advised the client that YOUR AGENT HAS BOOKED A STANDBY TICKET. We as Travel Agents can not issue standby tickets. You must stand your ground at check-in. Make sure you get the full name of the person at check that advises you this information, date time, and inform us, so we can then go to our airline representatives, to get this stopped! Unfortunately this has been stressful for our customers, and ourselves, when airline CHECK-IN staff are being so dishonest!

If you can please make sure you check in online before you arrive at the airport, with the airline you are flying with.

Prepay for your seats.

The airlines that have been the problem so far is Air Europa, British Airways and KLM - Royal Dutch Airlines.

Great news
From 21 June 2022, you will no longer need a pre-departure test to enter New Zealand. An updated Traveller Declaration form will be required.
Most travellers still need to meet vaccination requirements and take 2 rapid antigen tests (RATs) after they arrive in New Zealand.
Travellers whose first international flight to New Zealand departs after 11:59pm (NZT) Monday 20 June 2022 will no longer need a pre-departure test to enter New Zealand. This applies to travellers entering New Zealand from anywhere in the world.
