Ocean Cay in the Bahamas is one of those places that really is as beautiful as it looks! I was lucky enough to visit this little slice of paradise and those turquoise waters are something else!

💜 Sometimes it's the little things that mean the most.

Yesterday, one of my lovely clients brought me these beautiful flowers after returning from an incredible trip with her adult children. It was such a thoughtful surprise and honestly made my day.

Over the past almost 2 years of Jet Set Go, I've been gifted flowers, w**e, chocolates, gifts brought back from people's travels and so many thoughtful surprises. But it's never really about the gifts. It's knowing that someone has taken the time to think of me and that I've made a difference to them in some way.

There are moments in this job that really get to you. I've recently been helping several mums arrange for their kids to come home from their big OE's, and seeing just how emotional that can be is a reminder that travel isn't always about going away. Sometimes it's about coming home.

Today, I've had 12 travellers land in Barcelona after coordinating their staggered flights, and they've all been reunited. Knowing they're finally together and ready to start their adventure makes all the planning behind the scenes worthwhile.

People often see the exciting side of travel, but there's so much more to it. The worry, the relief, the happy tears, the memories being made and the trust people put in you along the way.

Running a small, independent business isn't always easy, especially with how tough things are for so many people at the moment. But moments like these remind me why I started Jet Set Go! in the first place.

This has genuinely become the most rewarding job I've ever had. And it's because of the people. The lovely messages, the kind words, the little gestures and hearing someone say, "I couldn't have done it without you."

We hear so much about the hard things in life that sometimes it's nice to share a little of the good, too.

So here's to kindness, supporting small local businesses and remembering that even the smallest gesture can mean the world to someone.

I'm just a small business with a huge heart in an old horse town, but I feel very lucky to be part of so many people's stories. And that means more to me than you'll ever know. Happy Hump Day - Sarah :)

CRUISING MYTHS BUSTED — INSIDE CABIN, OCEAN VIEW OR BALCONY?

One of the biggest questions when booking a cruise is which cabin to choose and is it really worth paying extra for a balcony? Let's break it down!

INSIDE CABIN:
No window, no natural daylight, but usually the most budget-friendly option! Perfect if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the ship, enjoying the entertainment and visiting ports, using your cabin mainly to sleep and shower. You could save money here and put it towards excursions or your next adventure!

OCEAN VIEW CABIN:
Want a little natural light and a glimpse of the ocean? An ocean view cabin has a window or porthole so you can see outside, although you generally can't open it or step outside. It's a great middle ground if you want a view without paying balcony prices.

BALCONY CABIN:
Imagine enjoying your morning coffee with the ocean stretching out in front of you, watching the scenery sail by or having a quiet spot to relax away from the crowds. A balcony gives you your own private outdoor space, which can be particularly special on scenic itineraries like Alaska or Norwegian fjords.

SUITE:
Want a little extra luxury? Suites typically offer more living space, a separate seating area and often a larger balcony. Some cruise lines even have slides for the kids! Depending on the cruise line, you could also enjoy perks like priority boarding, exclusive lounges, concierge service and upgraded experiences. Perfect for a special occasion or simply treating yourself! Just remember, perks vary by ship and suite category.

BUT IS A BALCONY ALWAYS WORTH THE EXTRA COST?
Not necessarily! If you're the type who is out exploring the ship or ashore all day, you might barely use it. On colder itineraries, the weather might also limit how much time you spend outside. An inside cabin could give you a much better-value holiday without missing out on the cruise experience itself.

THE VERDICT? There's no single right answer! It comes down to your budget, itinerary and how you like to holiday. Sometimes, the cabin upgrade is worth every cent and sometimes, spending that money elsewhere makes far more sense.
