Kerry is currently onboard Ponant Le Jacques Cartier exploring the Kimberley region from Darwin to Broome. We have a small group onboard who are having a wonderful time. Beautiful sun rise and sunsets. Wonderful white sand beaches and turquoise waters. No swimming! We have seen salt water crocodiles, sting rays, turtles, dozens of different bird species. Some were lucky to see the elusive Dugong ! Whales to come on the second half of our adventure. The sandstone rock formations are amazing and we have visited two sites with ancient rock art. The first estimated to be 30000 years old, the second more modern at a mere 5000 to 7000 years. As a sign of respect passengers are requested not to share photos of the art.
