The team at DR Earthworks Ltd have been out in Waitetuna Valley the last few weeks creating a new metal driveway and parking bay. Creating a flat area for cabins and metalling. Levelling and prepping the area for a water tank!! Absolutely stunning views, client was impressed with the final product, which is what we aim to do, always putting in that extra effort to get clients the results that they wanted.

Here at DR Earthworks LTD we are dedicated to helping out our community where we can. While we are in the Equine sector for Earthmoving we heeded the call that our community needed a bridge between our towns to access feed + Supplies. Although our yard is not the biggest of spaces we have made space to open a little store for our community.

DR Equine + Supplies opening soon in Pirongia 😎

Opening day 28th April 2025

Pirongia is an ever growing community with many neighboring communities. Equine + Supplies will be open to bridge the gap between our communities to get their animals their feed & supplies from, Te Awamutu/Whatawhata/Cambridge/Otorohanga/Raglan/Kawhia. Being a rural community we understand the inability to get your Supplies whether that being travel, time, costs & delivery issues.

DR Equine + Services is running along side DR Earthworks Ltd who are a local Pirongia Earthmoving company who cater to the Equine sector.

This Feed & Supply store will be located at DR Earthworks LTD premises at 105 O'Shea Rd Pirongia, this is a 3min drive from the main street of Pirongia.

Our core products cater to the Equine sector however we will also be catering to chickens/sheep/cats/Dogs.

Helping our community is a core value we have here at DR Equine + Supplies and although we will not be a huge corporate business we intend to look after our community in anyway possible.

For a start, we have acquired what we think will be essentials, but we do not intend to stop there. Each week we will be adding new Supplies, Supplies our community needs & requires. We can't get in 20 different types of products however we have decided to support our Local Businesses & NZ Made products. Supporting our community aswell as NZ Businesses.

We know time is money and to help with this we will be opening from 8.30am - 5pm Mon-Fri in time we will be opening on weekends. For faster pick ups we will be encouraging you to call ahead, tell us what you need and our awesome staff will have it all ready for you to go. Simply pay over the phone or whip inside to pay on the eftpos machine, back your car up and our staff will pack your Supplies in for you. Easy/Quick & proactive way to shop.

Remember we are here for you, please reach out to us if there is anything we can help you with or get in for you. We can't promise everything but we will do our damdest to help you.

The DR Team were out in Te Pahu last week helping a client Re-Metal their driveway and fix an issue with water diversion. Now the water is diverting away from their shed & they are happy with the job. Another reminder that Winter is coming & we know all too well the headaches of flooding & potholes.
