A selection of shots from our recent Winter paddling training sessions at Mana.

Shot 1 from yesterday…While many winter sports were cancelled due to rain, our growing club enjoyed a beautiful few sessions on the water.

The water was so calm and we had a great bunch of people doing so so well as they learn the craft of paddling.

So cool to have two new members enter into the k1 club today. Nice work Mae and Oriana…you’re now joining Sophia and Florence in the K1 club.

It’s great seeing the progress you are all making. We’re loving the learning thats going on. Yes it can be frustrating at times but that’s learning. By having a little GRIT and a little optimism and a little stretch we get to where we want to be.
Let’s keep the learning going. 😃😃

At the 2026 Marathon Challenge, our youngest member Molly sat down with NZ Marathon Athlete of the Year Emma Kemp and asked a few questions. Some of them deep, some of them tough. 🎤Emma’s answers blew us away.

But we shouldn’t be surprised! At Mana we are always so grateful for how Emma inspires, motivates and teaches our young paddlers.

Day Two Nationals: The day was short but the moments were 👌Our 2026 Nationals regatta has come to a close and it was extra special to have our founding coach Brian in the tent with us all weekend.

Our chocolate fish ceremony was an emotional one as we thanked our amazing coaches Mark and Greg and Kurtis passed on one of his medals to Brian.

To our coaches, our manager Lindi, parents, supporters and paddlers - thanks for bringing the Mana spirit on and off the water. We have a pretty special crew who truly showed up at this special place 💛🖤
