The humble feijoa - loved by many, hated by some, the flower is reminiscent of pohutukawa and eucalyptus, as they are all members of the myrtle family. We absolutely enjoy this plant all year round, in flower, in fruit, or just being it's lovely green self.

This spikey little one is a ladybird larvae. They eat aphids and other pests, so if you see them, don't squash them. Leave them to grow and fly away home.
