Our time in Kigali and the Volcanoes National Forest was mesmerizing. Kigali is vibrant and interesting.
Our gorilla trek into the forest was led by Disn Fossey’s former porter. Once with the gorillas, it was a life-centering event.
I adore Rwanda…and the people we met.
Of course, there is a very troubled past. The people we met talked about the lessons learned from the horrible issues of the past…and how Rwandans move forward today for a better life. Can’t wait to go back!
