Guided Walks Snow shoes allow you to walk across unbroken snow without sinking up to your waist, opening up huge possibilities for wilderness exploration.

Gone are the old tennis racket style snowshoes and in are the new ‘high tech’, slim line snowshoes which let you feel as if you are floating across the snow. Snowshoeing in Queenstown offers a peaceful, harmonious exploration of the wilderness. It is the perfect way for non-skiers to explore the winter mountains of Queenstown & enjoy the snow away from the crowds.

We have made the decision to consolidate our Guided Walks New Zealand products with similar offerings we have at our Hollyford Wilderness Experience business.

Guided Walks New Zealand is now closed for bookings and has been placed into hibernation.

Our incredible guiding kaimahi will now be based in the stunning Hollyford Valley, where they’ll keep doing what they do best — connecting people to our landscapes, stories, and te taiao. If you’ve booked a walk with us for 2025 or 2026, rest assured, your experience will still be delivered by the same passionate team.

Follow the journey at Hollyford Wilderness Experience and stay tuned for an exciting new premium tourism experience launching in the Hollyford Valley later this year!
