Celebrating 60 years of connection, innovation, and adventure ❤

Since 1965, we’ve been delivering thrills through the canyons of the Kimiākau (Shotover River), and last week, we took a moment to celebrate 60 years of doing just that.

We brought our kaimahi together for a special night to honour the people, the place, and the purpose that make Shotover Jet what it is.

Rooted in whānau, strength, and connection to the whenua and awa, this was a moment to reflect on where we’ve come from — and where we’re headed next.

Proudly owned by Ngāi Tahu, the Māori people of this land, our connection to the Kimiākau (Shotover River) goes back centuries. As the home of our tīpuna (ancestors), this place is part of us. Only we have access to the spectacular Shotover Canyons and no one knows this area like we do!
