🎣 First-time fishing magic! 🌟
Yurika (9) from Sydney landed her first ever fish today… and it was an EPIC 47cm brown trout! 🤩🐟

Her whole family were complete newbies this morning — now casting like absolute pros out on Lake Wakatipu! 🙌🔥

Just found this on an old flash drive… and couldn’t not share it! 😅
A few years back, on the way home from the Rakaia Salmon Fishing Comp, we stopped off at the Mackenzie Country canals — and this absolute monster brown trout made my morning!
Caught on a Gulp Soft Plastic during a wild Mayfly rise just after sunrise 🌅

Still one of the heaviest canal trout I’ve ever landed — pure South Island magic 🎣

JUST IN CASE HE'S BEEN STRETCHING THE TRUTH

A few weeks ago the band flew across the ditch to NZ to share the stage with the likes of ZZ Top, Pat Benatar & Neil Geraldo as well as Stone Temple Pilots.

Sure the shows were a huge success but even better was the absolutely fantastic hospitality extended by the locals and all the beautiful people of Greenstone Entertainment... including Rick getting out and catching one of these.

The Angels would like very much to extend their gratitude to all involved and also to post this image just in case Rick has been stretching the truth about his fishing exploits!
