There will be skiing tomorrow ! Here are a few guidelines for Coronet Peak under Level 2 . Stay informed, stay tuned and enjoy the skiing โท
Thanks for your patience while we work through our level 2 plans! We DO plan to open tomorrow at 9am, however the later start means no first tracks. We will have limited F&B offering, so encourage you to bring your own snacks to fuel your riding!
Hereโs a little bit of an overview of what to expect on our mountains at level 2.
- Everyone visiting us needs to have a MyPass card to enable us to contact trace. If you donโt have one when you arrive on mountain youโll need to head straight to our Guest Services team to get one.
- We may need to manage capacity on the mountain to allow us to responsibly manage physical distancing. We will do this by monitoring carpark capacity and will regularly update you if we are reaching this capacity.
- If you are driving up the mountain, please drop your passengers and gear off at our drop zones before parking. This will allow us to reduce the number of guests who need to take a carpark shuttle.
- Treat your car as your base lodge, please leave your bags and picnics in them. In case of bad weather or wind holds we will also ask you to head to your car while you warm up and wait for lifts to open.
- If you do have a pass, please head straight out on the slopes. Our indoor spaces will have limited capacity.
- Each mountain will have different coloured zones to provide information about what is expected in each area.
- In lift queues you must maintain 1x metre distance between you and anyone you donโt know. Remember tip to tail!
- We will be limiting numbers on chairlifts to manage physical distancing
- Tomorrow (Thursday) we will have limited F&B offering as we need another day to set up our dining areas.
- To be able to operate at level 2 we are required to ensure we can contact trace. We are implementing tracing through your MyPass cards
- Please remember to follow all level 2 guidelines, stay home if you are unwell, practice good hygiene, maintain physical distancing and be kind!
We appreciate your patience while everyone adapts to these new protocols on our mountains. Weโve done our very best to answer what we can for now in the FAQs link below, if you have any specific questions that havenโt been answered flick us a message and weโll get back to you as soon as we can. Please be patient โ itโs a new environment for us too!
