🏆 WE’RE FINALISTS for Tourism Industry Aotearoa's 2026 Awards! 🏆

We’re incredibly proud to share that Ziptrek Ecotours has been named a finalist for the Service IQ Tourism Excellence Award!

Since opening our treehouse doors in Queenstown in 2009, we’ve always believed adventure and looking after the place we call home should go hand in hand. From gravity-fed ziplines through the forest to sharing conservation stories with our guests, sustainability is at the heart of what we do! We’re proud to be recognised as a net-zero carbon business, and even prouder that our sustainability journey has been shared through Tourism Industry Aotearoa’s Akiaki programme to help other tourism businesses learn from our experience.

But this recognition is also about our staff…
Our guides, treehouse team, guest services, and everyone behind the scenes work incredibly hard to create an experience that leaves a lasting impression on our guests and, hopefully, the environment too. A huge thank you to our team, our guests, our industry partners and everyone who has supported Ziptrek along the way!

We’re so excited to be heading to the 2026 New Zealand Tourism Awards as finalists alongside some incredible tourism businesses from across Aotearoa.

It’s the first day of spring! 🌱
