Three brand-new Segways officially joined the Segway on Q fleet today! 🎉

It was a frosty July morning in Queenstown, with icy roads so slippery that even the buses weren’t making it up the hill. But that didn’t stop Rogel, Jacky and Rylee Dela Fuente from Gladstone, Queensland, who rugged up and became the very first guests to take our new Segways for a spin.

While Rylee’s hands definitely felt the winter chill, the family embraced the adventure and had a fantastic time exploring in the crisp morning conditions.

These three new Segways will carry thousands of riders over the years ahead, but chances are very few will experience a ride quite as frosty as today’s! ❄️🛴

Thanks for helping us mark a special milestone, Rogel, Jacky and Rylee. Safe travels and enjoy the rest of your New Zealand adventure!

Last week was Conservation Week. Segway on Q owner/operator Kevin Hey joined a volunteer crew for the day to remove wilding pines from Ben Lomond.

After an exciting start with a short one way helicopter ride, we worked our way downhill removing every pine in our path. It was tiresome work on at times some risky terrain. It was good to be involved in this community event and do our bit for nature.

I've been at it for 19 years now and on customer reviews Segway on Q rates higher than all the big names Queenstown is known for. Shotover Jet, AJ Hackett Bungy, Skyline Gondola and Luge and Fergburger all don't match the quality of my reviews. It's nice to beat the big boys at something even if they get all the customers.
