It’s always great to see returning customers come back for another ride. A big group I had last week included a couple who featured on our brochure. The top image was from 8 years ago. Below was an effort to recreate the same image last week. Nice one guys!

Every now and then you get a trip which you know you’re going to remember for a while. Jon & Lorraine from the UK were one such trip.
Jon is an accomplished Dakar motorcycle rally competitor completing 3000 miles through the Saudi Arabian dessert. A mission which frequently saw Jon taking falls off his motorcycle due to the invisible sands banks.
Lorraine on the other hand isn’t even confident riding a bicycle.
One of these riders was super confident quickly at ease with the Segway. The other, despite this being their second time on Segways was terrified!
Can you guess who that was?
Jon was very Ill at ease after his first Segway experience where he crashed into a wall along with other mishaps. His training that time around was relatively non existent by the sounds of it which didn’t help.
For the first few minutes on the Segway Jon stated “I hate this! I hate this!”
I told Jon under my training we were going to have a good time even if it took me the full hour to achieve it.
Little by little Jon’s confidence grew. He even accepted both speed increases. By the latter half of the trip he was loving it. He’s now looking forward to his 3rd Segway experience. 😄

Is my Segway haunted? I noticed a very apt for Halloween odometer reading on one of my Segways today, 666mi. Then right in front of my eyes the number changed. I can’t explain it. Strange happenings! 😵‍💫

I volunteered some time last weekend for a wilding control event. These invasive trees take over the landscape with detrimental effects to the natural ecosystem. This work was carried out in the One Mile Powerhouse area which is right by our training area so when I heard where it was I had to help out. Over the day a team of us removed many thousands of these pests to give the Beech trees and other plants a better chance of success.

There’s no business like snow business! Finally the white stuff is falling in Queenstown today. This was a very special treat for this mornings Melbourne guests who had never seen snow falling before today. A memorable outing.
