This is probably the easiest glacier to hike to in New Zealand, but don’t let that fool you… it is a seriouuus challenge!🦩

Starting from the Haast Pass (Just 2hrs from Queenstown), the trail climbs steeply through native forest before breaking out above the treeline to reveal incredible views of the glacier, surrounding peaks, and the Southern Alps.

The return hike is around 10 km with roughly 1,000 m of elevation gain… our legs were jelly by the end of the day but it was so worth it!

Is this the best BBQ in Queenstown? 🤤🔥

Set on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, Walter Peak is home to a gourmet BBQ lunch and dinner that has become a bit of a Queenstown icon.

There are normally two ways to get there, but for the next few weeks you'll be travelling across the lake on the Spirit of Queenstown! Tonnes of space, incredible views, and a bar on board to kick off the experience before you even arrive 🍻

Once you get there, expect locally sourced meats, fresh salads, delicious desserts, and plenty of options for all dietary requirements.

If you're looking for a meal with a view, this one is hard to beat 🙌
