2 weeks to go till we finish up from the busy summer season we have had. In saying that, we are still open through the winter for the Bridge to Nowhere tour and our short 45-minute tour. We are minimising our operating days which are Wednesday in the week and either Saturday or sunday in the weekend.
Just a quick note that our takeaway shop is open today and tomorrow easter Monday. Tuesday onwards the takeaway will be closed and should reopen in November when the summer season kicks off again. Thank you to all for supporting our small local business here in Pipiriki.

Pics from today's tour and the day before Easter Weekend with Ken our driver/guide and owner with his wife Josephine Haworth (photographer) of Whanganui River Adventures and Pipiriki Campinground.
Weather ended up being not too bad here for the Easter Weekend. River still really low and beautiful with reflections.
Enough rain to be a nuisance and to create the waterfalls again on the river banks and gorges.
Rain forecasted for late afternoon but very warm.
Awesome day again tomorrow.
Mother nature for you.

Enjoy the pics.

Join us for the last of the school holidays if you like scenery, local history & local stories then make sure you book your tour early to get a seat on our Whanganui River Adventures (Green & Black) Jetboat with Ken.

You will get local all round personalized history and stories with us.
We are based in the river valley village - Pipiriki on the Whanganui River (NOT the town of WANGANUI).
1 hr comfortable drive from OHAKUNE (Carrot and Turoa Ski Field) & NATIONAL PARK.
