Did you know that a percentage of the profits from every stay at our Greenstone Retreat accommodations goes to increasing children's literacy in Aotearoa? 💚

In NZ, a new structured literacy program was introduced for 2025, with a focus on increasing reading and writing skills in the primary school years. 📖📝
Unfortunately, the crucial preschool years have not been addressed, which is where comes in to bridge the gap.

They send their collection of award winning books and magical, forest-themed kitset shelves to early learning centres around the country, aiming to give tamariki between the ages of 2-5 an early love of books and learning. ❤️📖🌳
