I accepted a check in on Easter Sunday for The Big Bach. Which means, that people searching for an Easter stay won't see that we have availability. My mistake means that if a group wants to have Thursday, Easter Friday and Saturday nights, they are free. A two night or three night stay possible. Enjoy a weekend away and still have the day at home to unpack and get ready for the week ahead. Rate reduced from $1450 a night for up to 8 people for a public holiday to $900 for up to 8 people with extra people at 2/3rds of the price ($40 a night rather than $60)

We're super proud of our Manager Kelly McAvinue for taking out AirBnB's NZ Super Host of the year for Best Family Friendly Stay. Kelly works tirelessly to ensure the Bach has got everything a family group would want to have the perfect time together.

We have one of those rare occasions of an upcoming weekend being available. Friday May 10th to Sunday May 12th is currently free. Usually it is $1250 for up to 8 people per night, excluding cleaning and linen but mention this facebook post and we will reduce this to $800 per night for up to 8 people. Our corporate guests love their midweek corporate retreats at The Big Bach. Hauora Taiwhenua Rural Health Network have just stayed and left us this review. 'We held a Board retreat at The Big Bach. Kelly was very responsive and extremely accommodating in allowing earlier and later check out times for our Board. The house was beautifully appointed and perfect for a large group. The setting also made for a relaxed environment and stimulating discussion, something we would not have got in a corporate style venue. We would highly recommend'.

One of the many things our guests love about the bach is the glorious sunsets. A guest took this photo a couple of weeks ago from The Big Bach deck. A moody night but still a stunner. We get many bookings at this time of year for early next year, so get in quick to avoid disappointment. January is fully booked but in February we have three nights remaining. The weekend of 9th and 10th of February. The other night available is Tuesday February 13th. A lucky number for the corporate group that gets to snavel up the last available weeknight booking in February. Get the team off to a great in 2024 start by celebrating your business and discussing the year ahead.

Our weekends this year are filling up quickly, so if you want to escape with friends and family please get in quick. We currently have four weekends available this year.
These are:
August 4-6th
August 11-13th
October 6-8th
December 15th - 17th

Normally it is a minimum 2 night booking for weekends, but on the rare occasion we have one night available on a weekend. Saturday November 11th is available for just the one night.
