Calling all superstar chefs and managers! 🚨

Thank you to everyone who has sent through applications for the floor staff/waiter positions.

At this time, our top priorities are to fill the roles of Head Chef and Manager. If you are interested in these positions, please send your CV to [email protected].

We will also be hiring for other positions in the coming months, so stay tuned for updates!

As you may have heard, The Lakeland Queen will be launched back into Lake Rotorua next Thursday 28th at 8:00 AM — returning to her home at the jetty (after being dry docked for four years due to covid)

We warmly welcome anyone who’d like to come down and witness this special moment. However, for safety reasons, we kindly ask that everyone stays well back from the launch area and please note that we can’t have any guests onboard during the launch.

This moment has been a long time coming — we’ve been working tirelessly for the past 18 months to make this possible.

A massive thank you to all the amazing contractors, workers, and supporters who have helped us bring her back this far💙

There’s still a bit more work ahead before she’s fully back in service, but this is a huge milestone — and we couldn't have done it without you!
See you Thursday morning!

We are excited to announce that in the early hours of Thursday 28th August (7–8 am, weather permitting), the iconic Lakeland Queen will be relaunched back onto Lake Rotorua

This will be a special milestone as she makes her way back to her home jetty — not yet for cruises, but so we can complete the final refurbishments and finishing touches. We’re aiming to have her ready late 2025

We’re excited to share a sneak peek at the refurbishment work happening on our beloved paddle boat – and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support from our local community! 💙

From the skilled hands bringing her back to life, to the support groups, suppliers, and friends cheering us on – we are truly grateful. It’s been amazing to see how much aroha and pride this beautiful vessel still inspires here in Rotorua.

Every bolt tightened, every brushstroke, and every bit of polish is bringing us one step closer to welcoming you back on board for daily cruises on Lake Rotorua.
