It's super wet here in Rotorua so we have chosen to postpone today's sessions. Rainy days are perfect for going for a walk and checking the water management/drainage to make sure as little water as possible is pooling or running down the trail. The key is to help the water run off the trail as early as possible.

The perfect beginner trail! Here, I am chasing the king of stoke, Bare Kiwi down this Rotorua Classic on his first time on an eMTB.

Perfect for kids of all ages and bikes of all shapes and sizes! It has just had a recent facelift and is as good as ever with a beautiful trail surface and flowy corners, rollers and a couple of nice table tops!

Running mint all the way to the end!

I remember when this was first built back in 2014 and grinning the whole way down. It was sad when the lower part was logged, but then it was rebuilt as fun as ever.

We all know that Whakarewarewa Forest is a working forest. The pines get planted to be logged. Their cycle is about 25 years. It means that it is always evolving along with the sport. One of the next blocks to go is the one containing Eagle vs Shark - but not until the end of summer, at least.

Get to Rotorua and ride this beaut before the trees are harvested and the new version is put in its place. Stoked that there is such a good relationship between the land owners, forestry management, and recreational users. It allows us to continue to ride even when there are major works going on! Oh and that we have over 100 trails to choose from to keep us going always.

Travelling with your bike can be daunting but you’ll never regret it!

On a recent trip to Pakistan, we took our with us to the remote northern region to explore the potential for riding.

The riding was hard, the locals were super accommodating, and the scenery was spectacular 😍

Preparing for a trip is one of the best parts. The motivation to reach your goals to build fitness, skills and knowledge of an area is an exciting part of the journey.
