I started my career as a Travel Agent/Travel Consultant with Flight Centre in November 1996. In September 2004, I moved from working in a store to working from home as a Travel Broker for Flight Centre. In October 2022 Flight Centre Brokers was rebranded to Flight Centre Independent. I have over 28 years experience arranging travel for my clients.

Throughout my many years in this industry, I have booked leisure, adventure, business travel, including group travel, weddings, honeymoons, family holidays, etc. I have access to book a variety of travel arrangements, from flights, tours, cruises, hotels, rental cars, transfers, travel insurance, etc. I love to share my experiences, knowledge and passion for travel.

I'm a current certified CLIA Master Cruise Specialist (Cruise Lines International Association), which means I have substantial knowledge in many different forms of cruising worldwide. I have access to book many cruise lines globally.

I am based in Rotorua, however, I have clients residing in many locations throughout New Zealand and internationally.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!!! The government has just announced some huge changes around MIQ and opening our borders! 🥳🥳🥳 Kiwis will finally be able to reconnect to the world soon! ❤

There will be 3 steps:

STEP 1: From 17 January 2022, fully-vaccinated Kiwis and other eligible travellers coming back from Australia will be able to self-isolate at home and bypass MIQ

STEP 2: From 14 February 2022, fully-vaccinated Kiwis and other eligible travellers coming back from all other countries (with the exception of high risk countries) will be able to self-isolate at home and bypass MIQ

STEP 3: From 30 April, all fully-vaccinated foreign nationals will be able to travel to New Zealand, with the re-opening staged over time (possibly staged by visa category)

All travellers eligible for each of these steps will require the following:
👉 A negative pre-departure test
👉 Proof of being fully vaccinated
👉 A passenger declaration about travel history
👉 A day 0/1 test on arrival
👉 A requirement to self-isolate for 7 days
👉 A final negative test before entering the community

**NEW DOMESTIC TRAVEL UPDATE** Air New Zealand has announced that domestic passengers will have to be fully vaccinated or COVID-19 negative to fly from mid-December. ✈

👉 Air New Zealand is aiming to have this in place by 14 Dec 2021, initially through to 31 Mar 2022.

👉 You will need to provide one of the following:
✅ Proof you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Passengers can receive proof from the NZ government's My Vaccine Pass when it becomes available, and can be presented digitally or as a hard copy.
✅ Or a negative COVID-19 test result, taken within 72 hours of your departing flight. This can be in the form of a text message or a letter from a medical professional.

👉 You will need to provide proof of vaccine during check-in, either via the Air NZ app, website, or kiosk. A negative COVID-19 test can be presented to the check-in staff at the airport.

👉 Passengers with medical exemptions will be able to confirm their exemption at check-in.

👉 Please contact me if you have an existing booking and you are unable to provide proof of full vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test before your flight, or you no longer wish to travel while this temporary Air New Zealand policy is in place, and I will assist you.
