It's been a busy few months on the back country rivers and lakes of the Central North Island.

Although we didn't join the crowds up the local streams on opening day yesterday, we found some great fish on a couple of our lakes.

Once again we have helping out with fly fishing guiding this season.

Lake Rotoiti turning it on with good numbers of fish at all the usual places. Theres still plenty of action between 18-22m right on the dropoffs.
