The Devil’s Bath (Roto Karikitea) is one of the most surreal sights in New Zealand - glowing neon green thanks to sulphur and iron deposits sitting on the surface.

Depending on the light, it shifts from soft yellow-green to full “radioactive”

And while it might look tempting… it’s definitely not for swimming (pH ~2 😅)

The safety of our guests and team is always our top priority, and with severe weather warnings in place across the Waikato region, we’ve made the decision to close for the day.
