This beach front accommodation is at the gateway to New Zealand’s famous Bay of Islands ON the beach. Since 2001 local and international visitors have enjoyed this unique piece of paradise. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms sleep 2-13 guests. The beach house has been set up with international visitors in mind. Everything for a memorable stay is included ready to walk in and enjoy. Tapeka del Mar has unobstructed beach and bay views with an endless procession of passing boats and romantic sunsets. Private access to a safe, sandy all tide swimming beach with no road or dunes to cross - just steps across the flat lawn. Located on Tapeka Point beach - just two minutes from historic Russell village with island boat trips, attractions, shops, vineyards, restaurants, fishing and nearby world class golf courses. Five Kayaks and a dinghy or swim to the diving pontoon in front. The outdoor living and entertaining area is superb with a large furnished outdoor living area and BBQ grill. A covered verandah surrounds the house with direct access from bedrooms and living area – all just a few steps from the beach. No need to take your beach towel as you can rinse off under the hot outdoor shower when you return. The Master bedroom is on a secluded wing of the house with king size bed, heated ensuite bathroom, TV and sea views. The second bedroom has a queen and single with sea views. The third bedroom has a queen and king single bed with garden views. Directly behind the house at the same level is a large fourth bedroom / games room. This air conditioned room contains a king bed and three king singles. This room is popular with children and families. Two portable cots, high chair, bath, swing and stroller are available for infants. A fridge, sound system, DVD and TV is also provided.
The inside living area has high ceilings, comfy leather sofas and a nautical theme with a Cape Cod feel. Unobstructed sea and beach views extend through floor level glass doors to the deck. Lots of books, magazines, board games and DVD’s for off peak stays. Air conditioned for year round comfort.
