Chris and Maria started Central Tyre & Automotive Ltd back in 1999 in the big red building on Broadway South as the local Bridgestone dealer. Before Chris started Central Tyre’s he was already working with tyres, therefore giving him over 40 years’ plus experience and a wealth of knowledge. They employ a staff of 10 plus themselves.
They specialise in all tyres; car, Ute, ATV, tractor, truck, small implement, large implement. No tyre is too big or too small. They can also order in a wide range of rims for all vehicles. Commercial and agriculture are a big part of their business; therefore they offer an on call 24 hour service. Wheel alignments are an important part of prolonging your tyre life, so have the latest wheel alignment machine. Chris believes in keeping his machines up to date with the latest technology available. This includes wheel alignment, tyre fitting and wheel balancing equipment. They also employ 2 full time mechanics for servicing and any automotive work.
As Chris and Maria’s business has grown over the years a purpose built shed was built and starting operating in June 2023.
