u on request. Visitors to the Ruapehu District mostly come for the abundance of nature and variety of activities on offer. Close to Lake Taupo, Pureora Forest, Forgotten highway, canoeing, jet boating, tramping, Mountains (Ruapehu, Tongariro, Ngarahoe) and the new Timber Trail mountain bike trail near Ongarue/Waimiha.
