Everyone knows Hot Water Beach. But not THIS one. 

Right near the centre of Taupō, geothermal springs heat the sand along the lake’s edge year-round -  so even on a winter’s day, the ground is literally steaming. You can sink your toes in right by the water, just test it first because some spots get seriously hot! 🔥

The best part? It’s a 5-minute walk from Roam Taupō
