Last week our travel consultant Jana Cunha had the opportunity to join a famil trip to explore the beautiful Coral Coast in Fiji.

Despite a cyclone passing through the region during the first few days, Jana was incredibly impressed by how calm, professional and prepared the resorts and their teams were. Guests felt safe and well looked after throughout the entire time.

During the trip she visited 12 different properties, experienced a range of activities and explored several options along the Coral Coast that we can now confidently recommend to our clients.

First-hand knowledge like this is what allows us to match each traveller with the right place — whether it’s a relaxed beachfront resort, a family getaway or a special island escape.

Yesterday, Jana Cunha and Tai Scott (pictured with Mimi Wang from China Eastern) attended the official launch event for China Eastern Airlines’ upcoming route connecting Shanghai, Auckland, and Buenos Aires — set to commence in December 2025.

This new service will be the first direct air link between China and Argentina, offering a unique one-stop connection between Asia and South America, with Auckland positioned as a key gateway.

It’s great to see new opportunities emerging for travellers and businesses across three continents. For now, flights will operate to Buenos Aires, with potential partnerships under discussion to extend access to other South American destinations — so stay tuned.

🚨 Important Update: New Thailand Entry Requirement!
Starting May 1, 2025, all foreign travellers entering Thailand must complete the new Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) prior to arrival. This replaces the old TM6 paper form and aims to make the entry process faster and more secure.
📌 Key Details:
• Who? All foreign travellers
• When? Within 3 days before arrival
• Where? Apply at: https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/ #/home
• Cost? Free of charge
• What is required? Personal and travel info, accommodation details, and a short health declaration
🛃 Once completed, travellers will receive a QR code or reference number to present at immigration on arrival.

Check if you need an ETA

From the 8th of January 2025, New Zealand, Australians, and many other nations' passport holders will require an ETA to travel to and enter the UK. Applications for New Zealand passport holders is now live.

An ETA is required for:
* going to the UK for up to six months for tourism, visiting family & friends, business, or short-term study.
* transiting through the UK (including not passing through UK border control.
