Hey team, the April tours are getting pretty close! You should be getting your tour ticket and 'what to bring list' soon if you haven't already! Remember that New Zealand can have 4 seasons in one day, so you'll need to pack a bit of everything! The most important thing is that your bring a smile, a positive attitude and a sense of adventure!

Here's a bit of a flash back to the Mountains to Lakes Action Adventure tour from January. This is an alternative to the North Island tour for students who have already been on our South Island Adventure. The main feature is that there is less driving and days filled with outdoor activities. We're looking to run this in September and again next January, so keep an eye out for more information!

NZET sponsored kiwi update:

We just received the DNA results back and turns out Twilly is a male kiwi! He's been doing really well up in the predator proof kiwi pens, here is the latest photo from his health check - such a handsome boy!

Now weighing in at 488g he's just starting to get the first "pin" feathers or adult feathers. We all love his "eyebrows" as well, which you can see in the photo. He has quite unique colouring for a brown kiwi.

His little sibling Zetty has also just regained their hatch weight, so moved outside to the kiwi pens yesterday. So far so good. We don't have Zetty's DNA results yet.

Now that they're both up in the pens, we can go for a visit the and meet them!

Hamilton Boys High school International students Hamilton Boys' High School over in the Bay of Plenty for a couple of days. Luckily the weather turned on! They're rotating around 4 activities.
