📢 We Have Moved! | Bay of Plenty Chinese Culture & Art Centre

We are excited to announce that the Bay of Plenty Chinese Culture & Art Centre has moved to a new location in Tauranga City Centre! 🎉

📍 New Address: 62 Grey Street, Tauranga

Our new centre offers a larger and more welcoming space, allowing us to bring you even more exciting Chinese cultural, arts, language and community activities.

🌸 Everyone is warmly welcome to come and visit our new centre!

We look forward to welcoming old friends and new friends to our new home, and sharing more wonderful Chinese culture and community experiences together.

Children’s Small Group Class
For children aged 9–12 years
Wednesdays, 4:45–5:45 pm
$25 per child

Adult Group Class
Thursdays, 4:00–5:00 pm
$25 per person

Spaces are limited. Trial classes are available by booking.

Saturday , the 3rd Food Festival came to a successful conclusion 🎉
From preparation to the event day, every moment was made possible by everyone’s support and dedication.
Sincere thanks to all the food vendors, performance groups, volunteers, and every friend who came along to support us!
Special thanks to Minister Counsellor Xie and Consul Fu from the Embassy for attending in person and extending their support and warm regards to the Chinese community in New Zealand, bringing great encouragement and warmth to the event.
With delicious food and joyful laughter, we created many wonderful memories ✨
Looking forward to seeing everyone again next time!

📢 Event Postponed Due to Weather
🌧 Due to the weather conditions, and to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort,
our Food Street / Asian Food Festival & Chinese New Year celebration
has been postponed to next Saturday, 21st February.
We still have lots to look forward to:
🍜 Over 20 food vendors
🎶 Live performances (including traditional Chinese musicians from Auckland)
🎈 More children’s activities and games
📍 Same location, same time — new date only
