مسطرة ومثلث و منقلة
هذه الأدوات الثلاث بالصورة ،والتي لا تخلو منها حقيبة طالب علم في العصر الحديث هي ميراث مصري قديم و بعض مما قدمته الحضارة المصرية للإنسانية علي مدي تاريخها الطويل .
أخترعت ادوات القياس الهندسي هذه في عصر الاهرام ،بل هناك ادلة علي اختراعها منذ عصر بداية الاسرات قبل خمسة آلاف عام ،اما اقدم النماذج التي بقيت لنا بحالة سليمة فهي هذه التي تظهر بالصورة و هي:
مسطرة قياس كتبت عليها الأرقام و اجزاؤها بالهيروغليفية وجدت بمقبرة المهندس المصري ( مايا ) مدير الاعمال المعمارية ومدير الخزانة بعصر توت عنخ آمون ،محفوظة بمتحف اللوڤر .
مثلث لضبط المستوي مزود بشاقول ( الشاقول هواختراع مصري ايضا وهو اداة قياس تستخدم كدليل عمودي لبناء الجدران ولازال يستخدمها المعماريون والمهندسون للآن )، عثر عليه بمقبرة المهندس المصري ( سننجم) من عصر رعمسيس الكبير .محفوظ بالمتحف المصري .
منقلة لقياس الزوايا عثر عليها بمقبرة المهندس المصري ( خع ) وتعود لعصر الامبراطورية الحديثة ايضا ،محفوظة بمتحف تورين .
انتقلت هذه الادوات الهندسية لليونان والرومان و اصبحت رائحة للغاية في اوربا في العصور الوسطي حيث كانت تستخدم في بناء الكاتدرائيات و المباني المختلفة هناك ،كادوات قياس و مساحة و للانشاءات المعمارية ،ثم اصبحت ادوات تعليمية لكل دارسي علم الهندسة منذ الصغر .
