Start with breakfast at Flatwhite Waihi Beach, then hit the Orokawa Bay track — a 45-minute stroll through coastal bush to a secluded bay. Keep going inland for another 45 minutes to William Wright Falls, a stunning 30-metre waterfall. Wear good hiking shoes — it’s worth it.
