Dairy Goat Farm Herd Manager - for Infinityhoofcare
Location: in Cambridge / roto O rangi , Waikato

We are looking for someone who will work efficiently within the farm routines to help care for our 1250 housed dairy goats. The role is predominantly animal based, although it will involve machinery operation where necessary and other skills such as building and general farm maintenance.
The role mainly involves:
- milking and maintaining dairy hygiene standards
- implementing and completing animal care programs like foot trimming, identifying and treating lame goats, kid rearing and assisting with herd records
- operating effluent system
- assisting with pasture management, feeding and feed planning where necessary
- operate tractors and complete general maintanence of farm machinery
- assist with any other farm tasks
We have a young team of 3-4 others all living on farm, which is an attractive setting within easy reach of Te Awamutu, and Hamilton , Morrinsville and Auckland
Pleasant 1 bedroom accommodation is available on. A competitive remuneration package will reward competency and commitment.
