A few weeks ago I completed a 24km hikoi starting from Te Rerenga Wairua ending at Kahokawa (Scotts point) and was awarded with some precious cargo indeed. The kutai were huge and so fat. The kina not so much. Paua was shared by all who was on the hikoi. Can't wait to go back when it warms up.

Mere kirihimete me nga manākitanga o te ATUA kia koutou katoa (Merry Xmas everbody, may the LORD bless and keep you all in His amazing care)...
To all who have supported me, leave you with another wonderful Maori Proverb.
Ehara taku toa i te toa Takatahi, engari kē, he toa Takatini...
My success should not be bestowed onto me alone, but the success of a collective...
This whakatauki acknowledges team effort, that one’s success is due to the support and contribution of many.
Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes community/ a team effort
to enable an individual’s success.
It’s a good WHAKATAUKI to use when wanting to acknowledge the support of MANY....nga mihi nui... E Nga Wa Katoa of Te Kao.
