Desert in New Zealand????

This is not a desert, these are ginormous sand dunes created by wind and time in this region.
This was an awesome experience and it was the first time we did sand boarding.

Board rental is 15 $ or bring your own...
This is worth it only if the weather is good, so check it out before you go. Usually people stop here before they go to Cape Reigna.

Use sun block even if it is not summer!

Very underrated track.
This is a great track with a catch! Be careful as if you go during high tie you either do not pass or you have to wet your underwear 😂

We did not see the dolphins this time around but at least paddle boarding was nice. Akaroa is a famous place for seeing dolphins in their natural habitat.
