Running the Rock Guide Training course for . This is the last training course for prospective NZMGA Climb and IFMGA Mountain Guides before their first assessment course.

By the time IFMGA Guides are fully qualified in NZ, they would have attended 14+ formal training days and 56 formal assessment days as well as many additional days of first aid and avalanche risk management training and assessment, personal days of skiing and climbing, and work experience to ensure they have the technical and decision making skills, knowledge and experience for taking guests into the mountains.

Treble Cone Backcountry and Introduction to Backcountry Ski and Splitboard Courses are running weekly during August (subject to weather and minimum numbers).

Rock Guide Training Course for prospective mountain guides in Wanaka and the Remarkables for the New Zealand Mountain Guides Association. Great to see candidates developing their rock climbing and scrambling guiding and rescue skills.
