One thing we're really focusing on this year is helping people discover everything the Mahurangi Winter Festival of Lights has to offer.

Many visitors spend most of their time in one area and don't realise there's another whole section of the festival just across the roundabout.

Stuck for Mother's Day?
The Jane Gifford is a fabulous 2 hour sailing experience and is sailing on Sunday 10th May at 12pm.

You can either buy your tickets before 4pm, 8th May from the Information Centre or on the wharf at 11.45am before the sailing. If you purchase the tickets at the Information Centre then Mum's ticket will enter a draw to win flowers from . More details in the photo.

Don't forget some businesses will be open for breakfast and coffee in the morning before the sailing including No Filter Coffee and So French and also some for lunch and dinner such as BamBoo and Warkworth Hotel.

⚓️ Treat Mum to something a little different this Mother’s Day 🪻

The Jane Gifford is sailing on Sunday 10 May, departing Warkworth Wharf at midday for a two hour cruise along the Mahurangi River. A peaceful way to spend the afternoon together on the water.

Be there by 11:45am to book and pay on the day, or secure your spot in advance at the Warkworth Information Centre, 1 Baxter Street, open weekdays 10am to 4pm.

Adult $45 | Senior $40 | Child $10 | Family $110

Spaces are limited, so it’s worth getting in early.

🇳🇿 ANZAC Day is coming up on Saturday, 25 April.

Pick up a poppy from the Warkworth Information Centre and wear it in remembrance of those who served. Every donation helps support New Zealand’s returned service people and their families.

⚓️ Step aboard a piece of local history this Easter Sunday.

The Jane Gifford is sailing on Sunday 5 April, departing Warkworth Wharf at 9.30am for a two hour cruise along the Mahurangi River. Spaces are limited, and trips like this don’t come around often.

Be there by 9.15am to book and pay on the day, or secure your spot in advance at the Warkworth Information Centre. (1 Baxter St, 10am - 4pm weekdays)

ANZAC Day poppies are now available at the Warkworth Information Centre.

Handmade by locals, each poppy carries a simple message of remembrance. Red for service people, purple for service animals, and white for nurses.

Pick one up for $5 at 1 Baxter Street. Every dollar goes to the Warkworth RSA Veterans Fund.

Pop in, choose your poppy, and wear it with pride this ANZAC Day.
