Absolutely perfect stay at Waipipi Beach! This Airbnb had everything we could possibly need fully equipped kitchen, cozy living spaces, and thoughtful touches throughout. The interior was beautifully designed, blending comfort and style with a beachy charm. Just steps from the ocean, it was the ideal coastal escape. We didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend!

We had guests stay last weekend who made my mums recipe that’s up in the wall. (Recipe has been blurred out here)
They sent though this photo of one of the guests with the loaf they had made.

The recipe states
* don’t fight over the chewy ends
Seems when you have the whole loaf in your hands, no one is even getting a sniff! Lol

Their comments:
A wonderful place, we had a very relaxing time. We created some great memories at Waipipi.

( they have already booked another staycation with us)

A fisherman’s dream!

Just a minute walk to the beach, the Hideaway is a great spot to soak up the sun, relax and recharge and GO FISHING 🎣

So grab your rods, your tackle box and come stay awhile!
Waipipi has a boat ramp, bring your boat and your life jackets.

A short walk to the beach made it so enjoyable.

Beachcombing while walking for miles along the black sands of Waipipi Beach is a favorite pass time of those that stay at The Hideaway.

Can you spot our little pot guy “Mr Pot Head” here?

Funny story!
Once a week I walk
Around and water the 14 indoor plants we have at The Hideaway, however “Mr Pot Head” is troublesome, he leaks out of his leg holes, which carries on down his legs and onto the floor, it’s most annoying, but I love him, he has character.
So one time recently I thought I would place his legs over his shoulders until the soil absorbed most of the water, I would then place his legs back in the right position.
But I forgot!

We had guests check in and on their checkout left us a note saying they thought he was hilarious and wondered if he was a gymnast lol

We would love to see you’re funny plant pots if you have any and where you got them from, I might need to add some more funny pots to our BnB.

Such a special place to come and relax. The whole community is just lovely.
We were here during the school holidays and it was beautiful seeing all the kids out on their bikes, laughing and having fun.
We will definitely be back.
