Poached Eggs and Bacon

It is a gourmet affair that is nourishing, flavourful and indulgent. The table is set with china, silver and linen. The menu comprises orange juice, fresh New Zealand fruits, yoghurt and muesli and homemade preserves. The hot section of your gourmet breakfast will tempt your tastebuds …Jay’s freshly laid freerange eggs, pure New Zealand bacon which is frshly cut and collected from the local butchery served on our homemade muffins. To say anymore will take the surprise away!

Country Pikelets

No – not the sort of pikelets your Mum used to make for ‘Ladies a Plate’. These pikelets are all grown up and wouldn’t be out of place in a trendy café for brunch.

This recipe is real Kiwiana. Burgers, beetroot and coleslaw. If you weren’t around in the 60’s you won’t remember how surprisingly good this beetroot jelly tastes. Dare you to try it!

It’s a re-invented asparagus roll! Not really – but you will find asparagus spears at the centre of this tasty baked slice.

Burgers are great fun food and everyone love them. These ones – with salad and my super creamy avocado spread – are the perfect retreat BLAT….
